Our many years of experience make us a reliable partner in the fight against educational inequality and for the realization of children&#8217;s rights.<\/p>\n<p>Mali&#8217;s greatest treasure is its children \u2013 an enormous potential.<\/p>\n<p>However, many girls are not allowed to go to school, either because their parents are illiterate, have not received a school education themselves and do not consider it necessary for their children, or because the girls have to work in the household or in the fields, look after younger siblings or may be married off at an early age.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, school remains an unattainable dream for most girls. We at H\u00e4user der Hoffnung e.V. want to change that. We support girls who are eager to learn and give them the chance to develop their talents. With school scholarships, training grants, and support for university studies, we open up new perspectives for them and accompany them on their way to a self-determined future.<\/p>\n<p>The results of our work are impressive: educated women earn their own money, choose their own partners, marry later, send their children to school, and protect their daughters from genital mutilation. These positive changes have an impact beyond individual life stories and strengthen entire communities.<\/p>\n<p>Our commitment is based on volunteer work. We guarantee that your donations will go directly to Mali. We are regularly on site to ensure that our projects are successfully implemented and that support goes exactly where it is needed.<\/p>\n<p>Our projects are developed exclusively in close cooperation with our reliable partners in Mali. The well-being of the girls is our top priority. Every second girl in Mali is married off as a child. Married girls tend not to stay in school, are more likely to be victims of violence and have a higher risk of experiencing complications during pregnancy and childbirth.
